However, progress will depend on robust cyber security, effective governance, public and professional trust, and the ability to generate reliable evidence that demonstrates value in real-world settings.
Bringing together innovators, healthcare providers, patients, researchers and policymakers, this track will explore how AI, robotics and health data are reshaping clinical practice, drug development, research, diagnosis and decision-making. Through practical examples and forward-looking debate, participants will examine what is needed to move from potential to responsible adoption, while considering the wider implications of AI for people, health systems and society.
The EIT Health Catapult Finals bring together nine of Europe’s most promising start-ups in Life Sciences and HealthTech. The finalists will pitch their innovative solutions to a jury of investors and industry experts, competing for prizes while gaining visibility and opportunities to accelerate their growth.

European health systems must respond to growing demand while improving outcomes, experience and financial sustainability. This plenary will explore how health and care can move upstream—from treatment to prevention; outward—from hospitals to communities and homes; and closer to each person through more integrated and personalised approaches.
Rather than focusing only on new technologies, the session will examine what it takes to embed innovation into routine practice: involving patients and healthcare professionals, redesigning workflows and funding models, supporting the workforce and connecting different levels of care. Real cases will show what worked, what failed and what needed to change to achieve meaningful adoption.

Led by Dr Moredreck Chibi, this interactive session will introduce the WHO innovation Platform and explore how international organisations, healthcare providers and innovators can work together to identify health-system needs and accelerate the adoption of relevant solutions. Participants will discuss the practical conditions required to move innovation from experimentation to sustainable implementation, generating recommendations for stronger collaboration across the European health-innovation ecosystem.
