The future-proof workforce: are you and your team with us?
14:25  to  15:15 v Mainstage

Europe is creating a future-proof workforce. One that prioritises digital literacy in healthcare education, upskills existing workforce, and creates collaborative initiatives between healthcare and technology sectors. Are you ready? Hear from our experts on what’s being done to reduce the data literacy gap.

The rapid evolution of digital health technologies, including electronic health records, telemedicine platforms, and data analytics, has lead to one challenge: a shortage of the right workforce with the right specialised skills.  As technology continues to play a crucial role in transforming healthcare delivery, there is increasing demand for professionals who can navigate and leverage digital tools effectively.

But we are struggling to find and retain professionals who not only possess clinical expertise but also have the necessary digital literacy to implement and manage these advanced technologies.  This shortage prevents us from integrating digital solutions into healthcare workflows. And limited is the industry's ability to fully capitalise on the potential benefits of technological advancements, such as improved patient care, streamlined processes, and enhanced data-driven decision-making.

To tackle this, Europe is creating a future-proof workforce.
