A graduate of the Faculty of Biotechnology of the KUL JPII University of Lublin, where he obtained a PhD in molecular biology\biotechnology. Jerzy Pieczykolan has several years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and extensive experience in management and implementation of research and development projects. Since 2005, associated with the Adamed  LTD. where for the past years he managed the research department. His responsibilities span form supervision and implementation of R&D projects up to establishment of research consortia for ongoing projects and cross management of multiple departments. He created the foundations and scientific concepts for further research projects in the field of oncology implemented by R&D department at Adamed LTD., ie: 3CLA, NCAPT, BIOCON, MANTOREYE, ONCOTRAIL. Academic lecturer at the Faculty of Biotechnology of KUL JPII University of Lublin and Research Management Course - conducted for doctoral students of the Jagiellonian University. In 2015 -he joined Celon Pharma S.A. as a Head of Preclinical Development  Department where he is responsible for the development of the company's innovative pipeline and the implementation of projects into the clinical development. He oversees the portfolio of various development projects in: metabolism, oncology, neurology and inflammatory disorders. Co-responsible for the development of the concept of Celon Pharma – new Center for Research and Development, responsible for initiation of scientific consortia and cooperation with external academic and commercial partners. Active participant of multiple international congresses and partnering conferences - BIO International. Experienced project manager, member of the American Association for Cancer Research and European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer. Author and co-author of several international patents, patent applications and scientific publications.
