Ramon has a MSc in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC), Executive Master in Public Administration. Master of Science in Environmental Management. He  holds a Diploma of Advances Studies in innovation and research management.  Chief Health Innovation Strategist  at Ministry of Health, Government of Catalonia. Chief  Innovation Officer at  Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS). Among activities in the last fifteen  he has been leading the programs of procurement of innovation and value based procurement. Ramon has experience in hospital and medical innovation and in international funded research projects, mainly EU projects. Member of Europen Working Group  for the  "Harmonisation of clinical trial criteria & methodologies  in Europe for the evaluation of digital health  medical devices (DiHA)”.

He has hold positions as Strategic Projects Unit Director of Biocat, as Strategic Planning Director of Granollers City Council for 6 years, and as Director of IALE Tecnologia, a spin-off company of Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC) for 10 years. 

He is a guest lecturer at several educational centres, workshops and symposia of mission-oriented innovation policies and mission-oriented public procurement.
