Orestis is graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with an Integrated Master in Mechanical & Environmental Engineering. He holds an MSc in Smart Cities & ICT as a European Commission scholar. Following his studies he worked as a project engineer in large development projects and in European innovation projects.

Currently, he led Ecothess, a voluntary environmental team, where his efforts garnered recognition through award-winning social innovation projects.  

He has participated in international initiatives and conferences, and he was honored as EU-US Young Leader by the Fulbright Foundation.
